Job summary

LinkedIn is seeking a Distinguished Software Engineer to shape the future of our Core Infrastructure platform, focusing on Compute, Deployment, and Infrastructure as Code. The role is hybrid, with work from home and office on select days, based on team needs, and based in Mountain View, CA or Bellevue, WA.

You will lead architecture across multiple domains, mentor engineers, and drive high-impact initiatives from concept to production at scale in a private on-premise or hybrid cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Experience leading technical projects with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term technical strategy across LinkedIn’s core infrastructure including compute, deployment, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Lead cross-team and cross-functional initiatives.
• Head cross-team discussions and drive alignment on technology strategy.
