Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering, focusing on infrastructure, distributed systems or databases.
• Master's or PhD preferred; demonstrated leadership in building robust platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a deep understanding of LinkedIn's Online Infrastructure and Databases and provide domain expertise.
• Lead cross-functional technical discussions to align product and technology strategies while ensuring developer productivity at scale.
• Define and drive technical strategies and roadmaps translating business needs into robust architecture and plans.
• Design and architect scalable, resilient distributed systems to support Data Infrastructure objectives.
• Advocate for best practices, patterns, and quality standards for distributed databases and caching systems.
• Identify gaps in current infrastructure and recommend migration strategies for legacy systems.
• Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of craftsmanship and technical excellence.
• Represent LinkedIn as a thought leader by publishing papers, speaking at conferences, and driving industry innovation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure infrastructure supports business goals and customer needs.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ensure security and privacy standards are upheld across systems.
