Job summary

Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Infrastructure, Core in San Jose to own critical outcomes across large-scale systems. You will help design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain core infrastructure while guiding teams and stakeholders to achieve ambitious milestones.

You will influence technical direction, contribute to architecture, and mentor engineers across a distributed organization as part of Google's Core team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
