Job summary

Hyundai Capital America is seeking a Dispute Resolution Associate to investigate and respond to customer credit disputes, review accounts, and identify opportunities to improve processes. You will work cross-functionally to resolve issues, mitigate risk, and drive customer satisfaction while handling multiple systems.

This role requires 2–4 years in a call center or similar setting and knowledge of credit reporting practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years of related experience in a call center or customer support environment, including Collections, Servicing, Credit, or Funding functions, as well as customer service and escalation resolution experience.
  • Knowledge of Credit Reporting and the Fair Credit Reporting Act is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • Investigate accounts for accuracy in connection with the creditdisputerequest and respond promptly to the customer through the relateddisputechannel (mail or credit bureau).
  • Manage individual productivity to ensure both production and SLA targets are met.
  • Partner with various departments/teams to solve intricate problems, mitigate business risk, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements to positively impact customer experience and drive operational improvements.
  • Report trends and/or service issues to the leadership team and corresponding departments

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Dispute Resolution Associate is responsible for investigating and responding to credit disputes received from customers. This role performs account reviews, responds to customer disputes, and identifies system and/or process related opportunities for operational improvement.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Minimum 2–4 years of related experience in a call center or customer support environment, including Collections, Servicing, Credit, or Funding functions, as well as customer service and escalation resolution experience.

Knowledge of Credit Reporting and the Fair Credit Reporting Act is preferred.

High School diploma or GED required.

Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple customer issues effectively.

Ability to follow procedures, apply guidance, and exercise sound judgment in handling customer issues.

Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems, tools, and databases efficiently.
