Job summary

The Freeman Company, via its Alford Media division, seeks a Display Manager to lead the design and technical direction of large-scale corporate live events and branded experiences. This role oversees LED and projection systems, sets standards, and guides a team of display professionals to deliver safe, scalable, and visually compelling experiences.

Based in Dallas with a hybrid schedule 2-3 days on-site, you will partner with Sales, Operations, and vendors, manage budgets and forecasting, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10 years in projection and LED technology, video, or corporate live event production with leadership experience.
• Strong background in LED systems and customer-facing technical environments.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and design/control software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical authority for all display technologies, including LED and projection.
• Provide leadership and direction for the Display team on design quality, safety, and technical excellence.
• Oversee front-end planning and system design for large-scale corporate events and hybrid environments.
• Maintain design standards, SOPs, and best practices for display solutions.
• Guide design decisions, approve drawings and scopes of work prior to customer release.
• Coordinate between Sales, Operations, Engineering and other teams to ensure feasible, efficient solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordination with rental partners for large schedules.
• Lead technical training and knowledge development related to display systems.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance related to display operations.
