Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico seeks a Systems Engineer II - Display Services to join a fast-paced development team responsible for satisfying technical requirements and ensuring certification compliance.

You'll work with experienced systems and software engineers on the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project, supporting integration, verification, and deployment of complex displays apps and domain-specific hardware/software components.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
3+ years of experience in systems engineering in Avionics, Flight Management or Flight Guidance.
3+ years of experience with systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
3+ years of advanced systems engineering technologies experience.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Participate in development, systems integration, and verification of core Displays Apps on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
Avionics or embedded Systems development and requirement definition.
Support design and development of hardware, software, and network components.
Support successful execution of complex engineering projects.
Participate in deployment and configuration of systems, ensuring proper installation and rigorous testing.
Test and Integration on lab benches.
System Verification and Validation.
