Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer – Display Services in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role involves developing, integrating, and verifying display software for the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement rigorous software solutions, and conduct code reviews to meet performance and security requirements. This position starts onsite for 90 days, then transitions to a hybrid schedule (3/2).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related experience.
5+ years of software development experience.
Strong C++ or OO programming skills.
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Strong software architecture and design development skills.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and verify core Display applications on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
Implement software solutions meeting performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Perform testing and integration on test benches in labs.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development.
