Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineer II for Display Services in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role supports the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project, reports to the Sr Engineering Manager, and starts onsite before transitioning to a hybrid 3/2 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 3+ years of systems engineering experience in Avionics, Flight Management or Flight Guidance.
• 3+ years of systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of advanced systems engineering technologies.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, systems integration, and verification of core Displays Apps to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
• Avionics or embedded systems development and requirement definition.
• Support the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Support the successful execution of complex engineering projects.
• Participate in the deployment and configuration of systems, ensuring they are installed correctly, tested rigorously, and perform optimally.
• Test and Integration on test benches in labs
• System Verification and Validation
