Job summary

Planar Systems is seeking an Applications Engineer to assist customers with development and implementation of display solutions. You will train and support customers, participate in technical discussions, and work with sales to advance opportunities.

The role involves on-site customer support, training, and collaboration with Product Management to drive product improvements. Travel to customer sites is required, with a focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical sales role (B2B preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and selling ability; comfortable presenting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sale integration and application development support.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and architects to arrive at optimal solutions.
• Conduct trainings, product demonstrations, and assist with proposals and technical orders.
• Provide on-site support for training and installation as required.
• Feedback to Product Management and support marketing activities.
