Job summary

Floor & Decor in Portland, ME is seeking a display builder to design, build, and maintain store product displays across departments. The role includes creating approximately 20–25 displays per week and collaborating with the Inventory Control Specialist to manage materials.

Full-time and part-time positions are available; candidates should have at least one year of construction experience and adhere to safety policies.

Qualifications

• One year of construction or building experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proactive adherence to safety regulations and policies.
• Experience in woodworking, tile setting, use of power tools, measuring tools, and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and build store product displays per the Department Manager in each department.
• All duties or tasks performed honestly, ethically and professionally per company policies.
• Create 20–25 displays per week.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain inventory for materials.
• Create a calendar for each month with a plan for all displays.
