Job summary

WACKER in Calvert City, KY is seeking a Dispersions Production Planner II to manage raw material releases, schedule plant production, and coordinate deliveries. This role drives daily production schedules, maintains finished goods inventory, and ensures safety compliance within a shared manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a HS Diploma (associates/bachelor preferred), 1–5 years in chemical manufacturing or supply chain, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-5 years’ experience in chemicals manufacturing and experience with supply chain—forecasting, scheduling, logistics preferred
• Strong analytical abilities
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Organizational and communication skills
• SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Raw material purchase releases and manage inventory levels
• Schedule plant production based on sales order evaluation
• Coordinate deliveries of customer orders with carrier & railcar resources
• Develop daily production and loading schedules
• Manage finished goods inventory levels
• Compliance with OSHA, site, and Wacker safety regulations
• Inventory management
