Job summary

WACKER is seeking a Dispersions Production Planner II at our Calvert City, KY site. You will schedule plant production, purchase raw materials, and manage inventory to meet customer demand while optimizing the production process.

You will operate within EH&S guidelines and collaborate across functions to align with site goals. The role requires 1–5 years in chemicals manufacturing with planning experience, and familiarity with SAP/MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of chemicals manufacturing experience with supply chain forecasting, scheduling, and logistics.
• HS Diploma required; Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule plant production based on sales orders and forecasts.
• Purchase raw materials and manage inventory levels.
• Coordinate deliveries with carriers and railcar resources.
• Develop daily production and loading schedules.
• Manage finished goods inventory levels and related KPI performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and site safety regulations.
• Utilize SAP and MS Office to support planning activities.

What you will do:

The Dispersions Production Planner II is responsible for scheduling plant production, purchase raw materials, manage finished goods inventory levels, and optimize the production process. In addition, this position will also manage constraints imposed by raw material, equipment, and resource availability to meet customer demands. It is the responsibility of each employee to know, understand, and diligently practice our EH&S and Security policies and practices.

• Raw material purchase releases and manage inventory levels
• Schedule plant production based on sales order evaluation
• Coordinate deliveries of customer orders with carrier & railcar resources
• Develop daily production and loading schedules
• Manage finished goods inventory levels.
• Product and key raw material quality performance.
• Compliance with OSHA, site, and WACKER safety regulations
• Inventory management
• Business understanding
• Computer knowledge - SAP, MS Office applications

What we need from you

• HS Diploma required; Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-5 years' experience in chemicals manufacturing and experience with supply chain - forecasting, scheduling, logistics preferred
