Proper Cannabis is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for the Festus-West dispensary. This role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring compliance with Missouri laws and local rules while driving profitability and patient care excellence.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage a team of Patient Care Specialists in a fast-paced retail cannabis environment.

Qualifications

• Missouri cannabis laws knowledge
• Missouri Agent ID eligibility
• Must be 21+ years old
• Valid Driver’s License & MV record
• Strong leadership and team management
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of cannabis strains: Sativa, Indica, Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily dispensary operations
• Collaborate to meet financial and operational goals
• Maintain up-to-date financial, inventory, and purchasing reports
• Support POS, inventory, and security audits for compliance
• Count cannabis products daily and record quantities
• Oversee local and state regulatory compliance
• Receive orders and coordinate deliveries
• Ensure safety protocols across the team
• Maintain knowledge of vendors, products and trends
• Create weekly staff schedules
• Support customer relations and patient care
• Mentor dispensary staff on products, policies and regulations
