Job summary

Proper is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for the Festus-West dispensary. The role is full-time, non-exempt, and open to internal candidates with required leadership and retail experience.

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in daily dispensary operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage a Patient Care Specialist team, and drive profitability while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management skills required.
• Experience in retail and guest services preferred.
• Knowledge of Missouri cannabis laws and compliance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in day-to-day operations of the dispensary.
• Ensure financial and operational goals are achieved with staff support.
• Maintain inventory, purchasing, and financial reports up to date.
• Support audits of POS, inventory, and security systems for state compliance.
• Create weekly staff schedules and oversee patient care.
• Guide dispensary team with product knowledge and customer service.
