Job summary

Proper is seeking an Assistant General Manager for its Crestwood, MO dispensary. The role supports daily operations, regulatory compliance, and profitability while serving patients with care.

You will lead a team of Patient Care Specialists, manage schedules, inventory, and vendor relations, and uphold Proper Cannabis’s mission and standards. Prior leadership and retail experience are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Missouri cannabis laws and local regulations.
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID.
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license.
• Clear MV record and adherence to MV requirements.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented.
• Understanding of strains, products, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in day‑to‑day dispensary operations.
• Collaborate to implement best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure financial and operational goals are met with staff support.
• Maintain accurate reports for inventory, purchasing, and audits.
• Oversee safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Create weekly staff schedules and manage patient relations.
