Job summary

MUV is seeking a General Manager for our Retail Ops. You will oversee dispensary staff, inventory purchasing and tracking, sales goals and bonus targets, and day-to-day operations. The role requires leadership, strong customer service, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager in retail or hospitality.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively.
• Demonstrated integrity and honesty; professional conduct.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience serving the adult cannabis community.

Responsibilities

• Manage dispensary cashflow, staff, schedules, inventory, and customer relations.
• Serve as a resource for staff on products, policies and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with the corporate retail team to ensure accurate information is communicated to dispensary staff.
• Drive the implementation of company programs by motivating and supporting the store team to meet objectives.
• Plan, identify, and delegate responsibilities to the Assistant Dispensary Manager(s) to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide training, coaching, and developmental opportunities to dispensary employees.
• Maintain and provide regular inventory, sales, and profitability reports to the corporate retail team.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations and customer records in accordance with local laws.
