Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a General Manager for the RISE Dispensary to lead a diverse team and deliver memorable consumer experiences across in-store and omni-channel touchpoints. You will drive revenue, ensure security and compliance, and manage inventory, financials, and Seed to Sale processes.

The role requires a strong leadership background in retail, experience with POS systems, and a clear understanding of cannabis regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable business experience.
• At least five years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations.
• Cannabis experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience is required.
• Meet scheduling and availability requirements (including mornings, days, nights, weekends).
• Must have reliable attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older and pass background checks.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must comply with cannabis industry regulations and Green Thumb policies.
• Solid understanding of Cannabis laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direction, oversight, and execution of all dispensary operations with compliance.
• Drive revenue and profit through programs and promotions.
• Oversee and manage inventory, financial records, and Seed to Sale compliance.
• Maintain cash handling and daily reconciliation protocols.
• Manage order and expense processes aligned with budgets.
• Conduct monthly audits and scorecard reviews to identify inefficiencies.
