Position: Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher for World Kinect, you will be the first point of contact for drivers and customer service calls. You should excel at multitasking with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. A positive attitude, analytical and problem-solving skills, computer proficiency, knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

This is a night shift position. Wednesday to Saturday, with every other Wednesday off.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze daily product delivery requirements for fuel operations; prepare and assign driver work schedules.
2. Manage fuel inventory systems; maintain on-time delivery schedules for customers.
3. Create daily dispatch plans for fuel deliveries.
4. Communicate with drivers regarding load requirements.
5. Support customer calls and provide excellent service.
6. Ensure all accidents or spills are reported and documented.
7. Create and maintain a Safety Culture, ensuring compliance with all safety and transportation regulations.
8. Maintain accurate fleet availability records daily.
9. Assist in preparing documents for supporting departments.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications

1. Effective time management; ability to anticipate obstacles and adjust priorities.
2. Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
5. Knowledge of the oil/fuel industry.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Prior experience as a petroleum dispatcher preferred.
• DOT and Hazardous materials training preferred.
