Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking a dispatch coordinator to plan and execute daily movement of freight within an assigned area. You will work with drivers, receive orders, manage schedules, and provide frontline customer service to existing accounts.

The role requires strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Expected duties include on-call coverage and coordinating with suppliers and dealers to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members.
• Monitor web portals for station inventories.
• Solicit freight from customers.
• Create loads in dispatch system.
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members.
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).
• On-call duties as needed.
