Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a dispatch professional to execute daily plans for moving freight within the assigned area. You will coordinate drivers, manage the daily delivery schedule and respond to customer needs.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to sustain timely deliveries and maintain positive customer relationships. On-site position in Decatur, IL with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of dispatching experience.
• Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members.
• Monitor web portals for station inventories.
• Solicit freight from customers.
• Create loads in dispatch system. Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members.
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).

Essential Functions

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members
• Monitor web portals for station inventories
• Solicit freight from customers
• Create loads in dispatch systemDivide dispatch responsibilities with other team members
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system)

Qualifications
