Job summary

Valley Plumbing Heating & Cooling in West Jordan, UT, is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to support our HVAC and plumbing crew. This full-time on-site role schedules technicians, prioritizes urgent calls, and coordinates with customers and service reps.

You will manage the dispatch board, handle estimates conversion, permits/rebates, and help keep our operations running smoothly. Strong communication and multi-tasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, project management, or schedule coordinating preferred.
• Geographical knowledge of service areas or map-reading skills.
• Strong multitasking and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls from HVAC technicians about job completions.
• Discerning emergency and non-emergency appointments, move appointments when necessary.
• Coordinate with customers, technicians, and Customer Service Representatives to ensure proper scheduling.
• Manage cancellations and reschedules.
• Converting estimates.
• Managing the HVAC dispatch board.
• Taking overflow customer calls.
• Responsible for permits/rebates.
• Membership coordination.

Valley Plumbing Heating & Cooling is locally owned company, proudly serving Salt Lake and Utah Counties, West Jordan, and the surrounding areas. Valley Plumbing Heating & Cooling is dedicated to solving all service plumbing, excavation plumbing, and HVAC problems. No matter the scale of our customers' plumbing/HVAC issues, we have a solution for unique problems. We know our work isn't just about doing a good job but doing the right job. This position is essential to keeping our crew running smoothly. We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher for a full-time position. Our company is based in West Jordan.

This position is Monday - Friday from 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M., with occasional Saturdays (rare).

Responsibilities:

• Receive calls from HVAC technicians about job completions

• Communicates effectively using professional phone etiquette
• Exhibit a positive attitude when working with customers and technicians
