Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Culture: guide and inspire drivers while upholding safety and regulatory compliance.
• Enforce company safety policies and spearhead key safety initiatives.
• Efficiently schedule drivers and vehicles for daily routes and priorities.
• Monitor GPS system and paperless logs to ensure driver compliance.
• Maintain accurate time cards, PTO requests, and approvals in ADP.
• Be on call and work evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.

Arrow Stage Lines, one of the nation’s premier motorcoach providers, is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic team in our Kansas City, Missouri location!

Work hours for this position are 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm CST. This position is also on call every other weekend, from Friday at 10:30 pm through Monday at 4:30 am CST.

In this pivotal position, our Dispatcher is the heart of our operations, supporting our fleet of professional drivers throughout all AWS Shuttle Operations locations. Our Dispatchers play a crucial role in ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional service as they help our drivers stay compliant, on the road, and deliver outstanding experiences for our customers.

• Provide drivers with clear paperwork and instructions
• Monitor GPS system on vehicles and paperless logs for drivers, while monitoring compliance
• Maintain accurate time cards, PTO requests, and approvals through ADP
• Scheduling cleaning and maintenance services for company vehicles as needed
• Be able to pass a background check
• Be punctual, reliable, dependable, and have a professional appearance at all times
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment withchanging priorities, andmaintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Be on call and work evenings and weekends every other week

Experience or Equivalent Experience

• A proven track record in successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Thorough knowledge of the transportation industry, to include Safety, DOT and FMCSA regulations
