Job summary

ICC Services is seeking a Specialist to join our Lenexa, KS command center as part of a two-person dispatch team. You will coordinate driver trips, monitor trip accuracy, and support field operations to keep drivers moving and clients on schedule. The role requires 2-4+ years in a fast-paced operations or call center and reliable onsite attendance.

You will work Sundays through Tuesdays plus every other Wednesday, with 12-hour shifts from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years’ experience in dynamic, fast-paced operations center or call center environments.
• Excellent reliability and dependable onsite attendance.
• Strong client service and phone communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated professionalism and business maturity in an office environment.
• Asserts ownership for projects and assigned activities, meets deadlines.
• Comfortable multitasking across multiple screens, systems, and communication channels at once.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure timely coverage of driver trips.
• Optimize driver trip coverage options across multiple technology and dispatch platforms.
• Monitor trip accuracy and provide support where needed at multi-monitor workstations.
• This role is 100% onsite at our Lenexa, KS command center.
• Maintain accurate and timely tracking of crew trips, client chats, and scheduling applications in coordination with onsite team.
• Maintain collegial environment onsite and be a team player in group tracking environment.
• Escalate issues to field operations or clients when appropriate.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in our internal systems.
• Communicate professionally with field management and other team members.
• Monitor multiple active trips at once across several screens, including rideshare platforms and live chats with rail crews.
• Coordinate in real time with your on-shift teammate to decide who handles each trip as it comes in.
• Manage a growing volume of inbound calls and driver dispatches.

The Role

You’ll work side by side with one teammate in our Lenexa, KS command center as part of a two-person dispatch team. Call and dispatch volume is growing, and this role is central to keeping our drivers moving and our clients on schedule.

Schedule

• Sunday through Tuesday every week, plus every other Wednesday
• Shifts run from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (12-hour shifts)
• This works out to three shifts one week and four shifts the next

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain collegial environment onsite and be a team player in group tracking environment. This role requires immediate, face-to-face coordination with teammates to coordinate each incoming trip.
