Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher for MISD Transportation. The role will dispatch drivers and buses, monitor radio communications, and answer and route calls.

The position requires a Texas CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, at least 18 years old, and a minimum of three years as a certified school bus driver. Strong maps/GPS and solid written/verbal communication are essential.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Clear and valid Texas commercial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
• Must be 18 years of age

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to use maps and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to follow routes and locate addresses
• Ability to read and understand documents including policies and procedures manuals
• Ability to receive and give written and verbal instructions
• Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• 3 years' experience as certified school bus driver

NUMBER OF DAYS FOR THE POSITION:

187 Days - Split Shift Schedule - Hours will be 4:30 AM-8:00 AM and 1:00 PM-5:30 PM
