Job summary

Divine Electric & Plumbing in San Rafael, CA is seeking a part-time Dispatcher to coordinate service calls for our technicians. You will schedule appointments, assign technicians based on location and expertise, and communicate directly with customers to provide updates and resolve issues during visits.

This role also requires maintaining records of service calls, tracking progress, and optimizing routes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience preferred in scheduling and dispatch software (ServiceTitan preferred).
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Typing speed of 35+ WPM is often required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette.

As a Dispatcher, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating and managing service calls for our technicians. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, assigning technicians to jobs based on location and expertise, and ensuring timely responses to customer requests. You'll communicate directly with customers and service personnel, providing updates and addressing any issues that arise during service visits. Additionally, you'll maintain records of service calls, track job progress, and optimize routes to enhance efficiency. Your work will ensure customers receive prompt, effective service, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
