Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily operations for service technicians in California.

The role reports to department management and supports scheduling, documentation, and customer service efforts. Responsibilities include processing emails and calls, creating work orders, tracking GPS and ETA, and ensuring accurate handoffs to field teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of administrative experience.
• Accurate data entry at 35 WPM with no errors.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Terminology knowledge in plumbing, electrical or construction is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound customer emails and service technician calls
• Provide informative and proactive customer service
• Take detailed work order notes and communicate relevant information to internal teams
• Schedule and coordinate service calls within department guidelines
• Create work orders and support documentation to complete service requests
• Monitor technician workflow and job site progress
• Follow-up with service technicians, service managers and account managers regarding work orders, callbacks and paperwork
• Monitor and document GPS on service technicians and provide accurate estimated time of arrivals
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the department supervisor

We are currently seeking a Service Dispatcher to join our team and help coordinate daily operations for our service technicians under the direction of department management.

Job Type

Full-time

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound customer emails and service technician calls
• Provide informative and proactive customer service
• Take detailed work order notes and communicate relevant information to internal teams
• Schedule and coordinate service calls within department guidelines
