DocGo is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher in Fort Worth, TX to receive, prioritize, and dispatch ambulance calls. You will coordinate EMTs, gather patient information, and ensure accurate billing signatures while delivering top-tier service to facilities and the public.

This full-time role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work on a 24-hour shift cycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a dispatcher in EMS/clinical setting preferred.
• Fast typing with data-entry experience.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures/guidelines.
• Active listener with strong communication.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• EMT training/BLS preferred.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 125 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls in the CAD system.
• Provide top-tier customer service to medical facilities, patients, and EMTs.
• Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs.
• Roll up sleeves and ensure readiness and quality standards.
• Maintain professional demeanor in the office and on the phone.

Together with DocGo's integrated medical transport services, DocGo is bridging the gap between physical and virtual care.Responsibilities:Be a team player, as EMS is a team effort, and providers must provide necessary assistance to ensure system readiness and adherence to quality assurance standards.Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.Coordinate the Work and Activities of EMTs.Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner at all times when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors and or the public.Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls in the CAD system.Provide top tier customer service to medical facilities, the public, and our EMTs.Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.Roll up your sleeves and get things done!Maintain professional demeanor in the office and while on the phone with customers.Dispatch ambulances to scheduled runs to ensure appropriate medical level of transport care to area facilities.Intakes a large call volume, triages to determine appropriate level of care and coordinate transport.Perform other duties as required or assigned.
