ABM is seeking a dispatcher at Nashville International Airport. The Dispatcher receives assistance requests from clients and customers, and assigns individuals and teams to respond. Our agents assist many passengers and flights daily. Previous dispatching and customer service experience are required. Starting pay is $17.75.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
- Previous dispatcher and customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of prior multi-line reception or dispatching experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Support station operations, including service calls for passengers
- Assist arriving, transferring, or departing clients with information and customer service
- Schedule and dispatch employees, crews, equipment, or service vehicles based on requests, using radios, phones, or computers
- Relay work orders, messages, and information among crews, supervisors, and inspectors
- Advise personnel about hazards such as construction, accidents, weather, and bottlenecks
- Recognize and mitigate hazards within the department and work environments
- Coordinate with clients and supervising personnel to address questions and requests
- Monitor personnel and equipment locations to optimize service and schedules
- Oversee communications within assigned areas
- Prepare and record work orders and schedules
- Maintain records of requests, work, inventory, and dispatch info
- Follow all safety and regulatory procedures
- Coordinate repairs to restore service
- Assist passengers at the ticket counter as needed
- Maintain equipment at the ticket counter by collecting from various airport locations
- Notify supervisors of any unusual issues
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Tracking:
- Monitor daily services and update logs
- Maintain contact with service personnel to ensure duties are completed
- Report issues to the supervisor
- Create reports to monitor operations
