Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for setting up loads, coordinating with drivers and carriers, and ensuring on-time pickup and delivery while adhering to company policies.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of dispatching trucks, strong Excel skills for reporting, and solid communication abilities with customers and drivers. Familiarity with TMS, GPS, and ELD is expected. DOT regulations compliance is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of dispatching trucks.
• Strong Excel skills to track progress and generate concise reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and drivers.
• Experience with Transportation Technologies (TMS, GPS, ELD).
• Understand the impact of transportation on customer service and delivery performance.
• Manufacturing environment experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up loads for delivery using outside carriers.
• Ensure on-time pickup performance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Utilize TMS system when trained.
• Coordinate with drivers, carrier drivers, and Carrier Dispatcher.
• Ensure carriers report en-route as required.
• Ensure on-time freight delivery.
• Troubleshoot driver and carrier issues.

About the Role:

As a Dispatcheryou are responsible for:

• Responsible for setting up loads to be delivered for our customers (utilizing outside carriers).
• Ensure on-time pick up performance.
• Adhere to our Company policies and procedures.
• Utilize TMS System when trained on.
• Coordinate with drivers, carrier drivers, and/or Carrier Dispatcher.
• Ensure carriers report en-route as required.
• Ensure on-time freight delivery.
• Problem-solve driver and/or Carrier issues.
• Adhere to all Federal DOT Safety Regulations.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years of Dispatching Trucks
• Solid computer skills (with a high-level of competence in the use of Microsoft Excel to track progress toward established goals for the trucking operations and generate reports that are concise, easily understood, and communicate to appropriate levels of the organization).
• Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively interact with customers and/or drivers and with key management personnel within our assigned Region.
• Ability to utilize various Transportation Technologies, such as Transportation Management Systems; GPS; and Electronic Logging.
• Understand the impact of Transportation on customer service and work to improve delivery performance to meet or exceed the customer expectations.
• Previous manufacturing environment experience is helpful (but not required).
