Job summary

Keystone Hardscapes in Georgia is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate truck loads with outside carriers and ensure on-time pickup and delivery across our distribution network.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dispatching experience, strong Excel skills, and solid verbal and written communication to interact with drivers and customers. Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems, GPS, and ELD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Dispatching Trucks.
• Strong Excel skills to track progress and generate reports.
• Excellent verbal and written skills for interaction with customers and drivers.
• Familiarity with Transportation Technologies such as TMS, GPS, and ELD.
• Understanding the impact of Transportation on customer service and delivery performance.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up loads to be delivered using outside carriers.
• Ensure on-time pickup performance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Use TMS system when trained on.
• Coordinate with drivers, carrier drivers, and Carrier Dispatcher.
• Ensure carriers report en-route as required.
• Ensure on-time freight delivery.
• Problem-solve driver and/or Carrier issues.
• Adhere to Federal DOT Safety Regulations.

About The Role

As a Dispatcher you are responsible for:

• Responsible for setting up loads to be delivered for our customers (utilizing outside carriers).
• Ensure on-time pick up performance.
• Adhere to our Company policies and procedures.
• Utilize TMS System when trained on.
• Coordinate with drivers, carrier drivers, and/or Carrier Dispatcher.
• Ensure carriers report en-route as required.
• Ensure on-time freight delivery.
• Problem-solve driver and/or Carrier issues.
• Adhere to all Federal DOT Safety Regulations.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years of Dispatching Trucks
• Solid computer skills (with a high-level of competence in the use of Microsoft Excel to track progress toward established goals for the trucking operations and generate reports that are concise, easily understood, and communicate to appropriate levels of the organization).
• Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively interact with customers and/or drivers and with key management personnel within our assigned Region.
• Ability to utilize various Transportation Technologies, such as Transportation Management Systems; GPS; and Electronic Logging.
• Understand the impact of Transportation on customer service and work to improve delivery performance to meet or exceed the customer expectations.
• Previous manufacturing environment experience is helpful (but not required).
