Job summary

PALM BUILD LLC is seeking an organized Construction Dispatcher in Deerfield Beach, FL to serve as the main liaison between customers, field teams, subcontractors, and project management. You will manage multiple priorities, coordinate schedules, and represent the company professionally.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Prior dispatch or restoration experience is a plus, bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in dispatch, construction coordination, restoration, customer service, call center, scheduling, or office operations is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering and managing information.
• Comfortable working with phones, text messaging, email, CRM, scheduling, and other computer-based systems.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
• Construction or restoration experience is a plus, but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage inbound emergency, scheduling, customer, and job-status calls.
• Gather accurate job information, document details, and enter information into the company's CRM and scheduling systems.
• Prioritize calls and service requests based on urgency, job phase, location, and available resources.
• Schedule and dispatch restoration technicians, construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to active job sites.
• Coordinate crews across multiple projects while managing changing schedules and priorities.
• Monitor crew locations, arrival times, job status, and schedule changes throughout the day.
• Communicate job details, access instructions, scope information, and scheduling expectations to field personnel.
• Keep customers informed regarding appointment times, crew arrivals, delays, and next steps.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations to ensure jobs move efficiently from one phase to the next.
• Confirm subcontractor availability, material deliveries, and scheduled work.
• Identify scheduling conflicts or operational issues early and elevate them to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, job notes, call logs, and scheduling information.
• Support after-hours emergency coordination when required.
• Provide additional administrative and operational support as needed.
