Transdev is actively seeking a transportation dispatcher for their Paratransit service in the Concord locations. We are looking for qualified dispatchers who can provide excellent customer service to both our passengers and our drivers.

Position Subject To Collective Bargaining Agreement:

• $21.58 - $26.94 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)
• Starting pay $21.58 with progression to $26.94 over 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route start times, incidents, etc.
• Provide customer support regarding trips, no-shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
• Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, liaising with emergency services.
• Review route performance daily and respond proactively to service-impacting situations.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of dispatch operations experience in transportation.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
• Customer service orientation with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules.
• Majority of work indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
• Work primarily in an office or cubicle with a telephone and computer.
• Long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a screen.
