Job summary

SilkRoad is hiring a SPEC Dispatcher in Colorado to coordinate deliveries, process orders and provide product pricing and information to customers. You will be the first point of contact for clients at the counter, ensuring smooth operation of sales activities.

The role focuses on building relationships with customers, quoting and pricing, scheduling deliveries, and guiding drivers and loaders. This is an in-person, full-time position with opportunities for growth in a busy supply environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering building materials or similar sales.
• Strong coordination and customer service skills.
• Ability to quote and price items accurately.
• Capable of handling orders and paperwork daily.

Responsibilities

Job description

The SPEC Dispatcher is responsible for delivery coordination, order placement, general sales information and product requirements, pricing, , and more. Most often they are the customer’s first point of contact.

Position Responsibilities:

• Selling building materials to our customers from the customer service counter
• Maintaining and growing existing customer base through prospecting, sales account development, quoting, and customer follow-up.
• Sourcing special order items for our contractors.
• Ensuring all customer sales orders are imputed complete and accurate.
• Advising customers on inventory levels and pricing.
• Cash application and reporting.
• Answering the phone and directing calls.
• Scheduling and answering questions regarding deliveries for customers.
• Supervise a team of drivers & loaders
• Schedule outgoing freight
• Keep trucks DOT compliant as well as completing all paperwork daily

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
