Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. is seeking a Transportation & Disposal Coordinator to support daily transportation and disposal operations across the Northeast.

The role collaborates with project teams, trucking subcontractors, vendors, and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant material handling. You will develop dispatch plans, monitor load counts and documentation, and help forecast, invoice, and report to Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, dispatching, and transportation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet or database tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Logistics and Dispatching: Coordinate trucking, facility availability, and schedules across multiple projects.
• Vendor and Facility Coordination: Communicate with trucking subcontractors, disposal facilities, quarries, recycling centers, and other service providers.
• Compliance and Documentation: Maintain transportation agreements, permits, insurance documents, and compliance records. Review material classifications and disposal locations.
• Tracking and Reporting: Track approvals, load counts, shipping documentation, forecasting, invoicing, and reporting.
• Problem Resolution: Respond to transportation shortages, scheduling changes, facility restrictions, rejected loads, and other operational challenges.

Are you an organized, dependable professional who enjoys coordinating people, schedules, and moving parts? We are seeking a Transportation & Disposal Coordinator to support daily transportation and disposal operations across the Northeast. This position works closely with project teams, trucking subcontractors, vendors, and facilities to help ensure materials are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements. Candidates with experience in logistics, dispatching, operations, construction, environmental services, or other fast-paced coordination roles are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics and Dispatching: Coordinate trucking, facility availability, and schedules across multiple projects. Develop efficient dispatching plans to maximize truck utilization and manage costs.
• Vendor and Facility Coordination: Communicate with trucking subcontractors, disposal facilities, quarries, recycling centers, and other service providers.
• Compliance and Documentation: Maintain transportation agreements, permits, insurance documents, and compliance records. Assist with reviewing material classifications and determining appropriate disposal locations.
• Tracking and Reporting: Track approvals, load counts, shipping documentation, and other operational information. Support Project Managers with forecasting, invoicing, and reporting.
• Problem Resolution: Respond to transportation shortages, scheduling changes, facility restrictions, rejected loads, and other operational challenges.

Pay Range:

Pay Range: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 DOE, Vehicle allowance, and full benifits package
