Taylor Transportation Search Group is seeking an experienced Dispatch Team Leader for a trucking client. The role oversees daily dispatch operations, leads a team of dispatchers, and focuses on load planning, driver utilization, and on-time service.

You will coordinate with safety and logistics, monitor KPIs such as on-time pickups, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring DOT/HOS compliance in a fast-paced, Monday–Friday operation.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of dispatch, logistics, or fleet operations experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, routing, and load planning.
• Familiar with DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Operational efficiency & problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop a dispatch team for high performance.
• Oversee daily load planning, routing, and driver utilization.
• Ensure on-time pickups/deliveries and strong customer service.
• Support driver retention through effective communication.
• Coordinate with safety for driver training and road tests.
• Serve as escalation point for complex operational challenges.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with logistics to align capacity with demand.
• Ensure DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and company policies are followed.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
