Job Description:

The Work

Receives and directs internal and external calls. Provides directory assistance and general information as needed.

Communicates codes, alerts, drills, and other announcements according to established policies and protocols, including emergency/disaster management plans. Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.

Operates answering service, beeper and paging systems for contacting internal/external personnel and code teams.

Maintains desk directories, on-call lists, reference guides, and other associated reference materials.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dispatch, switchboard operation, office work, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with operating a multi-line telephone system is advantageous.

Strong grammar and spelling skills are necessary for clear communication.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a plus.

Compensation Information:

$18.97 - $33.20

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
