Job summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., seeks a Dispatch Supervisor to lead drivers and material handlers, ensure DOT compliance, and coordinate dispatch activities.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays and competitive wages starting at $25 per hour, dependent on experience. Responsibilities include overseeing safety programs, conducting interviews, and ensuring timely paperwork, fleet and dispatch operations, and customer communications.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.
• Supervise drivers and material handlers.
• Knowledge of state and federal DOT regulations.
• Learn computer systems as needed.
• Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice.
• Good memory and scanning abilities.
• Good communication and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Able to learn to use a forklift.
• Requires valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test (no THC).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to assigned personnel through goal setting, performance reviews, delegation and communication.
• Conduct interviews, hiring and training as necessary.
• Support safety programs to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives.
• Hold regular meetings to inform on policies and procedures and enforce productivity standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and communication.
• Ensure drivers complete daily paperwork (logs, inspections, reports).
• Dispatch: assign products to be pulled, route paperwork, and manage returns.
• Fleet: monitor DOT regulations, PMs, and repairs to stay compliant.
• Assist drivers with breakdowns and coordinate training for drivers.
• Operate power equipment including forklift; may backup as driver.
