Job summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., seeks a Driver Supervisor in Memphis to dispatch routes, manage a fleet, and oversee drivers.

You will ensure safety, training, and efficient deliveries while maintaining paperwork, logs, and DOT compliance. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM or until complete, with potential overtime. Responsibilities include leadership, hiring/training, process improvements, and coordinating with CSR, Sales, and drivers to uphold customer service

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience
• Supervise drivers and material handlers
• Knowledge of state and federal DOT regulations
• Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems
• Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
• Good memory and scanning abilities
• Good communication and math skills
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Follow safe operating procedures
• Able to be trained to use forklifts/high reach lifts
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one during hiring

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to assigned personnel through goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication.
• Conduct interviews, hiring and training as necessary.
• Support safety programs to ensure policy compliance and a safe working environment.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular meetings to inform on policies and procedures; enforce productivity standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and communication.
• Ensure drivers complete daily paperwork and logs.
• Dispatch route paperwork to appropriate area.
• Monitor DOT regulations and PMs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist drivers with break downs and coordination.
• Coordinate training for drivers.
