Job summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is seeking a Dispatcher in Spokane, WA to support the Dispatch Supervisor by planning routes, managing driver logs, and ensuring timely paperwork and safety compliance.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and familiarity with transportation operations; typical schedule is Monday–Friday with potential Saturday overtime, and full-time benefits including healthcare, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older, per policy.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 1 year of professional driving experience and road test.
• 1 year experience in transportation industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver requirements.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers complete daily paperwork: logs, inspections, fuel receipts.
• Ensure timely completion of customer returns within 3 days.
• Assist with will-call customers and review driving alerts.
• Track drivers on Elite and close routes daily.
• Train drivers on PIV, tablet, and safety expectations.
• Complete routing requests before cut-off times.
• Provide backup for Dispatch Supervisor and EComm.
• Assign lines to material handlers for routes.
• Answer calls professionally and coordinate with teams.
• Spot check trucks for cleanliness and compliance; assist in breakdowns.
• Backup driver, order pulling, operate power equipment as needed.
• Promote a safe working environment; follow procedures.
