Job summary

ONE Gas in Austin, TX is seeking an intermediate Dispatcher who will prioritize and dispatch field operations, communicate with customers, and use multiple systems.

Responsibilities include analyzing workload, coordinating resources, and generating reports; exceptional English communication and map reading required.

Experience of 2–4 years, valid driver’s license, ability to travel within facilities, and a willingness to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of relevant dispatch experience, minimum one year required.
• Knowledge of scheduling principles and practices.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and accurately.
• Experience with office software and basic arithmetic operations.
• Familiarity with dispatcher policies and emergency notification procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers via phone, email, and messaging.
• Prioritize, dispatch, evaluate, and re-allocate field workload; manage schedules.
• Use multiple systems (Banner, PragmaCAD, SharePoint, Maximo, Everbridge, Skype).
• Assist customers with account info and service orders, including emergencies.
• Prepare reports and records such as emergency and incident reports and timesheets.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
