Job summary

Freedom Waterworks in Houston, TX is seeking an organized Dispatcher to join our logistics team. You will oversee driver assignments, coordinate with the Warehouse and Shipping Teams, and optimize routes for efficiency while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

You will monitor driver performance, prepare daily operational reports, and communicate schedule changes clearly to drivers. A minimum of 3 years dispatch experience and knowledge of LTL trucking are preferred for this full-time,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dispatch experience.
• Familiarity with Houston roads, highways and traffic.
• Experience with LTL trucking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in dispatch software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers for timely pickups and deliveries, ensuring routes are optimized for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Warehouse and Shipping Teams to ensure timely loading and accurate deliveries.
• Maximize route efficiency by analyzing data and adjusting dispatch strategies.
• Monitor safety protocols and DOT regulations to maintain compliance.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports on operations, route efficiency, and KPIs.
• Provide clear communication to drivers regarding schedules and changes.
