Job summary

Purity Oilfield Services is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher in Bowie, TX to support our growing operations. The role involves coordinating drivers to pick up and deliver water, planning efficient routes, and monitoring progress to ensure timely transportation of water and equipment.

The dispatcher will manage daily operations, assign drivers to loads and routes, and ensure logs and records are accurate. The role requires clear communication, knowledge of DOT guidelines, and the ability to adapt

Qualifications

• Proficient written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of basic DOT guidelines.
• Water hauling logistics experience preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years' experience in logistics and/or customer service preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and maintain judgement.
• Ability to coordinate multiple units and provide information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers to pick up and deliver water by assigning loads and planning efficient routes.
• Monitor drivers' progress and route status to optimize schedules and deliver timely transportation of water and equipment.
• Manage daily operations and assign drivers based on customer needs and equipment availability.
• Review electronic tickets for accuracy and efficiency and maintain logs and records.
• Serve as central point of contact between drivers, clients and site managers to address issues.

Dispatcher Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Proficient communicator in written and verbalskills.
• Knowledge of basic DOT guidelines
• Water Hauling Logistics Experience preferred but not required
• Preferred 2 - 3 years' experience in logistics and/orcustomer service.
• Must be able to think and react quickly to changing situations and conditions and apply good use of judgement at all times.
• Be able to monitor status and route of multiple units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.Provide information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Dispatch duties involvecoordinating drivers to pick up and deliver water by assigning loads, planning efficient routes, and monitoring drivers' progress. Key responsibilities also include route planning and optimizing delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of water and equipment to various locations. Managing daily operations, coordination in assigning drivers to specific loads and routes based on customer needs and equipment availability. Administrative tasks like ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate logs and records which involve reviewing electronic tickets for accuracy and efficiency. Acting as the central point of contact between drivers, clients and site managers to address issues and ensure smooth operations. Data management: Using software to manage data, track loads, and generate reports for invoicing and accounting. Schedule: 40-48 hours per week. Day shift / Night shift and weekend availability.
