Job Responsibilities
- Determine staffing requirements and facilitating the hiring process; coordinating employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of move crew
- Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
- Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development and motivation and corrective action programs
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all Department Of Transportation regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines
- Serve as the “on-call” contact outside of regular business hours
- Conduct safety spot checks during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution Develop and implement an employee recognition program
- All other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Job Requirements
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Driver’s license with a good driving record
- Willing to obtain a DOT Physical
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.

- Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 100 lbs. or more
- Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook

Work is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards; however, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds may be necessary. Local travel in a company vehicle may be required.
