Job summary

Premier Packaging in Glendale Heights, IL is seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator. You will align freight with drivers, dispatch loads, manage routes and bills of lading, and monitor driver hours and logs.

Daily communications with drivers, customers and management are essential, with competitive hourly pay and benefits. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years dispatcher experience, excellent communication skills, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience as Dispatcher preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aligns the day’s freight with available drivers. Dispatches individual drivers with assigned loads, routes, bill of ladings, and timelines.
• Freight scheduling
• Pick ticket and load tags
• Tracks individual driver hours available and log book activity
• Posts all bills of lading meeting the requirements and forwards all discrepant bills of ladings to the Shipping Manager
• Daily communication with Drivers, customers and Management team
