Job summary

Rapid Care Innovation Transport LLC is seeking a motivated Dispatch / Customer Service representative to join our Cedar Rapids, IA team. You will coordinate and dispatch transport vehicles, serve as the primary contact for customers, and help keep schedules on track.

You will monitor driver locations, communicate with drivers and clients, and maintain accurate records to deliver reliable, on-time transportation with a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or transportation coordination preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, and basic office tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a customer-first attitude.
• Must be located in or able to commute to Cedar Rapids, IA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch transport vehicles efficiently to meet scheduling demands
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, bookings, and updates
• Monitor driver locations and trip statuses to ensure on-time performance
• Communicate clearly with drivers, clients, and internal staff via phone, radio, or digital platforms
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched trips, customer interactions, and service logs
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Support daily operations by coordinating route planning and resource allocation
