Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group, is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator for the MHC RoadAssist Center in Kansas City, MO. This role handles inbound emergency and service calls from customers and drivers and schedules repairs in a 24/7 environment.

You will answer breakdown calls, coordinate substitute trucks when needed, document events in our systems, and communicate repair status to customers and branch teams via email, text, and phone.

Qualifications

• One year of dispatching and/or truck, automotive, or heavy equipment repair industry experience strongly preferred.
• CRM systems experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound breakdown and non-domicile truck repair calls and schedules repairs. Arranges for substitute trucks as required.
• Ensures trucks are returned to service as quickly as possible and verifies repairs are adequate and cost appropriate.

This position handles inbound emergency and service calls from customers and drivers and uses established policies, procedures, and systems to schedule and manage repairs in a 24/7 environment.
