Job summary

Brundage is hiring a Winter Seasonal dishwasher/utility to maintain cookware and utensil cleanliness in a fast-paced Back of House. You will operate the dish machine and perform manual cleaning tasks to support kitchen operations.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing long shifts, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Join our team for a busy outdoor dining season in a dynamic food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and place them in dish racks to run through the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes, transport to cook’s line and storage areas.
• Hand wash pots and pans in a 3-compartment sink following wash, rinse, sanitize order.
• Set up and break down dishwashing area, clean the dish machine.
• Maintain cleanliness in front and back of house as needed.
• Assist with prep work, running, stocking as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The dishwasher and general utility position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of cookware and cooking utensils, using the dish machine and manual cleaning methods. Joining our Back of the House team offers a fast paced, fun and energetic work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in dish racks to send through the dish machine
• Sort and stack clean dishes, transport clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas
• Washes pots and pans by hand in 3-compartment sink following the correct order of wash, rinse & sanitize
• Set-up and break-down dishwashing area properly, thoroughly cleaning the dish machine
• Maintains cleanliness in all areas of front and back of house as needed
• Other duties might include, but are not limited to prep work, runner, stocking
• All other duties as assigned

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50lbs
• Ability to stand for the duration of 8+hour shift

• Must have a reliable transportation plan that allows for timely arrival to and from the worksite for all scheduled shifts

Typical schedule is 8AM to 6PM
