Job summary

SMI Hotel Group is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure wares for the front and back of the house are clean and sanitized. The role requires being organized, professional, dependable, and capable of working well both independently and in a team, in a full-time capacity at our Richmond, VA area properties.

The position involves washing wares, stocking stations, and maintaining sanitary standards in line with our health and safety guidelines, contributing to a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stocks serving stations and other areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment to the work area by hand or with hand trucks.
• Keeps work areas safe, clean, and orderly, following health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
