Job summary

Vision Hospitality Group is seeking a Dishwasher to support our hotel operations and guest experience. You will operate the dishwasher, sanitize dishes, and assist with hand washing when needed, contributing to a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This role supports a culture focused on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 8 hours, stand for long periods, and lift up to 40-50 pounds.

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Hand wash items not suitable for the dishwasher.
• Restock supplies in assigned areas and maintain a clean work area.

Job Description:

A Dishwasher is responsible for operating the dishwasher to properly clean all dishes and cooking utensils, and to hand wash items not appropriate for dishwasher. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.†philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.

• Complete all training
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures and property specific brand standards
• Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests
• Provide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest
• Operates automatic dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes and cooking utensils
• Hand wash items not appropriate for dishwasher
• Re-stock supplies in the assigned areas
• Perform general kitchen cleaning duties including the cleaning and mopping of kitchen floors and trash removal

Necessary Skills:

• Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.
• Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates and hotel assets
• Have knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures
• Able to report to all scheduled shifts
• Able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person
• Able to work a flexible schedule. We are a 24/7 business which may require work availability of nights, weekends, and holidays
• Is organized, honest, and works well with others
• Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person
• Has the highest degree of integrity and is humble, living by the Golden Rule
• Able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds

• Must speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, and understand English
