Alisal Properties Inc. is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Dishwasher to join our luxury ranch and resort team in Solvang, CA.

The role involves operating dishwashing and hand-washing stations, maintaining clean wares, and supporting kitchen operations with attention to detail and a guest-focused approach. You will manage deliveries, stock rotation, and routine sanitation while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning/kitchen experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull minimum 50 lbs.
• Able to work on site and stand for duration of shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment and hand washing stations.
• Wash and disinfect dishes, pots, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables, rotate stock, and prep ware for use.
• Empty trash, clean and mop kitchen areas, and dispose of recyclables properly.
• Follow all safety policies and report maintenance needs and hazards.

Alisal, a luxury 10,500 private acre working Ranch and Resort in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country is seeking an experiencedand service-oriented Dishwasher.This position entails operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, including the dishwashing machine, hand washingstations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor. Washing and disinfecting kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, andequipment. Receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly, and rotating stock. Ensuring clean wares are stored in appropriate areas.Using detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes. Inspecting, pulling, and stacking cleaneditems, sending soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing. Racking and spraying all racked items with hot water to loosen andremove food residue. Sorting, soaking, and washing/re-washing silverware. Breaking down dirty bus tubs. Emptying and maintainingtrashcans and dumpster area. Cleaning and moping all areas in assigned departments. Disposing of glass in the proper containers.Breaking down cardboard boxes and placing them and other recyclables in the recycle bin. Following all company, safety, and securitypolicies and procedures; reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; completing safetytraining and certifications. Protecting company assets. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others;supporting team goals.
